Olivia is a British-American children's animated television series based on Ian Falconer's books. It is seen on Nick Jr. in the US, Milkshake!, Nick Jr. in the UK and Ireland, and Playhouse Disney Channel in Latin America and Brazil, Treehouse TV in Canada. Nickelodeon has renewed Olivia for a second season which premiered on November 21, 2010.
Olivia is today's girl. She is a 6 and 3/4 years old dynamo who believes she can do anything and sees every day as an opportunity to try new things. Her vivid imagination takes her on a grand adventures, both real and fantasy, and like all children, her antics occasionally result in endearing misadventures.
Taking place in a world where ALL people are pigs, Olivia revolves around the title character and her family. The plots are mostly everyday situations in which Olivia finds herself and her unique way of dealing with them. In almost every episode Olivia also dispenses her "Rules of Life". Examples of those are "Rule of Life #3: If you have to sit next to a little brother eating spaghetti, you better wear a raincoat" and "Rule of Life #52: If your mom is having a baby and she asks you whether you want a brother or a sister, that does not mean you're really going to get the kind you ask for."

Jacky 很喜歡，時常叫我講給他聽，
目前我們只唸完了 Zoo 這本，先介紹這本:
這本書將一天分成8個時段，分別把這8個時段在動物園的變化用跨頁的圖畫表現出來，

相同的場景、不同的活動，甚至是一些細微的變化都沒遺漏，

每頁左邊是找找看，右邊是時鐘，中間還有內容說明， 講述圖中內容，發生了啥事，
除了左邊的小圖可以玩找找看外，內文提到的東西也可以玩，
我們光這本就看了好幾天才完成，因為Jacky總要找好久，
每本書後還有Glossary、A Closer Look、Index，對於英文字彙的學習很有幫助。

 

講英文故事給 Jacky 聽時，我都是一英一中，中間穿插問題，

從Jacky的回答知道他了解的程度，再慢慢拿掉懂得的中文，run幾次後，最後就改成全英文了。

這是學汪XX的，只是我是提問，他們是討論，

我覺得這方式對Jacky的英文學習非常有用。
